Hey hey!
One of my friends asked me on Plurk (a new social network which I am a member of) for new cool music. This is the response to her question.
First off is a remix between the 90’s tastic theme to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and the irritating euro-trash song Vengabus. Both come together to make cheesy greatness.
The next song is The Con by Tegan and Sara. I am actually going to post both a live version and the official music video here, because I think both are of equal greatness. Tegan and Sara is my current favourite band, and I seriously think you should check it out.
The next is some solo piano, which I love. It is from a guy called Brad Mehldau, who plays what appears to be mostly covers of contemporary songs, but with a Jazz twist. Fans of Radiohead will like this cover.
Finally, I will finish off with some Bishop Allen, who have some of the most infectiously catchy songs I have ever heard.
